Ho Man Tin Street

This 2,000 square feet apartment is designed for a young couple in an old building on Ho Man Tin Street. An open kitchen and sliding doors are devised to create a fluid open space for the apartment. A range of flooring materials is employed for the different areas of the apartment: quartzite (stone) for the living room; ebony (wood) for the dinning area; cement screed for the open kitchen; and sisal carpet for the master bedroom and changing room. One can sense the changes in materials when walking barefoot around the apartment.
